Who am I
Not all therapy is solution focused nor should it be. Often people will enter therapy wanting to make large life changes or seeking direct guidance on how to meet a particular goal. While this can be a part of therapy, I see this more as work to be done through peer support and coaching methods that are not necessarily clinical.
This is why as I continue my journey toward independent licensure as a psychotherapist and clinical social worker, I wanted to create a space that has a different container than the therapeutic relationship and work of psychotherapy.
My ideal coaching client or group work, is with folks who may or may not identify as neurodivergent, and struggle to create routines and build lives that feel good and work for them under the constraints of living in a “neurotypical” world. Coaching can be helpful to identify barriers to making changes that could support us in living our most fully self expressed and aligned lives. I also love to work with frustrated artists and folks from activism spaces who want to feel free to live outside the constraints of oppressive structures, but still need some structure and discipline to build the projects they want to see out in the world.
This work is more creative and self expressive in nature. Contact me for an introduction if you are not looking for therapy, but are interested in accountability work and personal development that builds on existing strengths.
